When the device driver sends IOCB or Mailbox commands to the adapter and
it expects a response to the IOCB or Mailbox command, a timer will be stated.
If the timer expires and the device drive has not received a response,
then the device driver will log an error the AIX error log.

0x0000 0127 | This message was introduced for the flipper 4G dual port adapter. The mailbox
Kill Board command behavior was changed to quiesce the activity on one port while the other port was to be reset, and the command completion status changed. This change was added to firmware level 2.10x8. If the firmware level is less then 2.10x8, then this message is informational only, if the firmware is 2.10x8 or higher, then this is a true command time out. |
